As Vice President of Technology at Beekeeper Group, Frank serves as the resident technical expert for all digital projects.

Prior to joining Beekeeper Group, Frank has worked at public relations and public affairs firms for almost a decade. He served as the Director of Technology at Taoti, leading the development team, contractors and vendors in Drupal web site builds while sitting on the Executive Committee and acting as a technical mentor for the rest of the firm.

Frank was also the Managing Technical Lead at Ketchum for all digital development work globally, serving Fortune 500, non-profit and government clients around the U.S. and abroad. He supported major brands and organizations such as Mattel, Nestle, Toshiba, HHS and USDA and supported the Ketchum Public Affairs division in social media and web site development work – with a focus on open source solutions such as WordPress and Drupal. Frank contributed to projects which garnered over a dozen top awards and nominations in the PR industry from organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America, The Holmes Report and PRWeek.

Prior to Ketchum, Frank was a Senior Application Developer at DCI Group – the largest privately held public affairs firm at the time. Frank worked with Fortune 50 clients to build custom communications portals and supported over a hundred campaign and advocacy sites.

Frank’s government experience started with his own web design firm in 1997 supporting HHS, which later led to a major, multi-year development, training and support contract for USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service consolidating their eighty-plus websites and applications into a single, common look and feel. Frank’s team supported approximately one hundred and fifty webmasters across the U.S.

While operating his web firm, Frank also engaged the community where his business operated by forming the Cleveland Park Business and Professional Association and working with the local ANC, the Office of the Mayor, DC Council members and the Historical Society to organize Cleveland Park Day 98 and 99.

Frank is a DC native who spent his youth running between his family home in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood and his family farm in south-central Pennsylvania. When he’s not at the Hive, Frank spends his time grilling and enjoying time with his wife and two boys.
