The International Franchise Association hosted its Public Affairs Conference in Washington, DC in September 2012, which attracted more than 500 attendees. The fly-in was just like hundreds of others held yearly in Washington -- conference rooms on the Hill had the potential to change, messages had the potential to shift, and attendees required information.
