From the Advocacy Leaders Network blog:
Advocacy Leaders Network is designed to enhance grassroots and government relations professionals’ understanding of decision-making and operational practices in Congress. Through interactive workshops involving expert panelists, presentations, case studies and roundtable discussions, attendees gain knowledge of strategies and practices that will enrich communications and relationships between citizens and Congress.
Our past four years of half-day workshops have been a rousing success, with each event reaching full capacity. Speakers have included media and technology specialists, academics, lobbyists, nonprofit advocacy professionals, senior government relations experts, and policymakers.
Now, the Congressional Management Foundation and Beekeeper Group are excited to announce a fourth series to be launched on Friday, March 27. Topics and dates are as follows:
- March 27, 2015: Reaching Capitol Hill: The Class of 2015
- June 12, 2015: Glamorous Grasstops Advocacy: Cause Placement and Celebrity Endorsements
- September 25, 2015: The Psychology of Advocacy
- December 11, 2015: Creating a Mobile Advocacy Toolkit
We hope you’ll plan to join us again in 2015! Registration for the new series is open now. Sign up by March 13th to take advantage of the Early Bird rate and save over 25 percent.
