The Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety
We worked with The Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety (HCAPS) to support the introduction of legislation in Congress. This would enhance the safety of contact lens users and prevent abuse of the prescription verification process, and thank the sponsors of those bills. Our efforts included creating and placing digital advertising in influential inside-the-beltway publications and running display ads on national networks as well as targeted social media purchases.
With a turn-around time of just a few days, we built a landing page, designed digital ads, and wrote ad copy that appeared in Roll Call, Politico, Axios, and Bloomberg. We also placed digital ads using our DSP (demand-side platform) tool, serving display banner ads based on geography on top-tier news publications. Additionally, we ran social media ads on LinkedIn targeting Congressional staff. As a final complement, we ran ads on Taboola promoting a 3rd-party article that supported the legislative solution advanced in the bill. The reach and impressions that we received from these ads helped generate increased awareness around this legislation, resulting in a successful campaign.
