Brad Rizza is an Account Director who specializes in strategic communications, digital media strategy, research and reputation management.

Most recently, Brad served as Account Manager and Marketing Associate at Widmeyer Communications, focusing mostly on Education clients. Prior to joining Widmeyer, Brad was Communication Manager for one of DC’s premier digital advertising agencies, Pappas Group. He helped guide the evolution of Pappas Group’s marketing/communications department in addition to providing strategic communications needs for clients. Brad developed new program marketing strategies at Discovery Communications, and created reputation management and online marketing programs while with EyeTraffic Media. He has experience in event management and fundraising, working for both political and entertainment clients with one of DC’s most successful consulting groups, Kieloch Consulting.

Originally from Massachusetts, Brad graduated cum laude with a B.A in public communication and a minor in marketing from American University in Washington, DC.  As a student he was awarded Top Undergraduate Digital Communications Plan by Ogilvy & Mather in addition to receiving the Promise Award from America’s Promise for his team’s senior Capstone Campaign. From 2011-2012, Brad served as the Communications Chair for Ad 2 DC, the 250-member young advertising professional group that is affiliated with the DC Ad Club. Brad is a frequent guest lecturer at American University and has also presented at Georgetown University and The Lutheran College Washington Semester.
