Matthew Zablud is a founding Partner at Beekeeper Group. He loves devising creative and cost effective strategies to help clients boost stakeholder recruitment and empower their supporters to become high-quality advocacy champions.
Sometimes, to his happy surprise, these efforts receive industry recognition. Work on behalf of his clients received several Grassroots Innovation Awards from the Public Affairs Council and were honored with Webbys, Communicator Awards, W3 Awards, and PR News awards in the ‘Public Affairs’ category.
Matthew frequently shares his experience on developing integrated advocacy communications campaigns through various public speaking engagements. He has appeared before audiences around the globe and has worked as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University teaching Online Political Strategy.
Formerly a lawyer and campaign manager from Melbourne, Australia, Matthew practiced commercial litigation before becoming a political advisor to an Australian state opposition minister. He holds a master’s in political management from The George Washington University and has worked for numerous political and advocacy campaigns in the United States and internationally for over 15 years. Matthew served as Conference Manager for the highly successful Politics Online Conferences in Washington, DC and in a research role at the Institute for Politics, Democracy, and the Internet. He also worked on the e-Campaign team at the national headquarters of the Bush-Cheney ’04 presidential campaign and coordinated on-the-ground voting legal teams for the Republican National Committee.
