Political Capital is our (award-winning) advocate training game, now gone virtual with the option of a physical version as well.
We developed a special training session to lift the curtain on the inner workings of Congress, and now we’ve adapted it for a virtual audience. Participants learn what truly matters to Members of Congress and their staff, find out how the media, lobbyists, and grassroots constituents interact to influence key legislation, and discover which advocacy tactics have the most impact on Capitol Hill.
Instead of listening to a speaker on the topic or another boring webinar training, Political Capital brings together a conference audience to play a game! We created an interactive game where attendees choose which advocacy tactics to implement and when, helping them learn and understand the nuances of the legislative process. To win, players must gain enough votes to pass key legislation while competing against a highly motivated opponent who matches them move for move.
The virtual format means the game works for groups both large and small – suitable for 2 or more players. We put together a game that is themed and customized to a particular issue area and branding, with custom tactic values and scenarios. We can facilitate and host the game for you or we can offer a training session on how you can host the game yourself.
The virtual game is the perfect solution for organizations that still want to train their advocates on lobbying without needing to meet in person.
