Political Capital is our (award-winning) advocate training game, now gone virtual with the option of a physical version as well.
We developed a special training session to lift the curtain on the inner workings of Congress, and now we’ve adapted it for a virtual audience. Participants learn what truly matters to Members of Congress and their Staff, finding out how the media, lobbyists, and grassroots constituents interact to influence key legislation, and discovering which advocacy tactics have the most impact on Capitol Hill.
Instead of listening to a speaker on the topic or another boring webinar training, Political Capital brings together a conference audience to play a game! We created an interactive game where attendees choose which advocacy tactics to implement and when, helping them learn and understand the nuances of the legislative process. To win, players must gain enough votes to pass key legislation while competing against a highly motivated opponent who matches them move for move.
The virtual format means the game works for groups both large and small – suitable for 3 to 120 players. We put together a game that is themed and customized to a particular issue area and branding, with a custom PPT deck and easily shareable PDF game tokens and PDF scoresheets. We can even facilitate and host the game for you.
